6 comments | Log in to comment! | Share this!Having completed my written driver's test last year, my dad decided to get me a learner's permit at one of the local DMVs. We went to the one in Hazlet on Saturday around 11. The place was going to close at 12.
Only problem is the notification that I passed my test wasn't the only thing I needed.
So we rushed back to our to house to pick up the shit I needed and make it back in time. Too bad this DMV only issues body permits, the other two (which were an equal distance from my home and were closed now) were the ones that issued the real deal.
Next week came and we went to the one in Eatontown. But a new can of worms was opened because I needed to take a vision test (neither my father or I was informed of this) and because I didn't bring my glasses, it was pretty much a lost cause. It turned 12 by the time we got home and my dad wouldn't be able to bring me again on Saturday because he had to intend a meeting.
He ends up working from home today and brings me now to the one in Freehold. After getting lost because there weren't any signs to guide us to the area, we finally get to the building, I pass the vision test, and I finally get my permit.
And then my dad got lost again.
So much for having a GPS.
